JENNÉ LOMBARDO

As the founder of MADE Fashion Week and strategic branding and marketing firm The Terminal Presents, Jenné Lombardo is a pivotal innovator in the creative community who is responsible for the transformation of business models for multiple high-profile companies, and has worked with groundbreaking brands, designers and artists such as Alexander Wang, Proenza Schouler, Rodarte, Nicola Formichetti, Lady Gaga, Terence Koh, American Express, MySpace, Tumblr. Target, Lexus, J Brand, Playboy and W Hotels.

Lombardo, a Cleveland native, began her career in fashion as a Special Events manager for Tina Brown’s Talk Magazine, and went on to work as a freelance events consultant for esteemed magazines such as New York Magazine and GQ, and ultimately served as the in-house Special Events Director at Interview.

She soon made a natural transition into the beauty sector as the Executive Director of Global Fashion, Talent and Special Events for Estee Lauder owned M.A.C. Cosmetics. During her 7 years at M.A.C., Lombardo oversaw talent for the famed Viva Glam and Icon campaigns which featured Lady Gaga, Cyndi Lauper, Fergie, Debbie Harry, Missy Elliot, Christina Aguilera, Pamela Anderson, Eve, Linda Evangelista, Diana Ross and Raquel Welch. Lombardo also enlisted designers and artists such as Gareth Pugh, Alice+Olivia, Barbie, Hello Kitty, Liberty London, Marcel Wanders, Marilyn Minter, Maira Kalman, and Richard Phillips, among others. The multi- tasking Lombardo was additionally responsible for launching Sean John fragrances as well as working with Tom Ford fragrances on launch events, all while simultaneously creating the highly prestigious MAC + Milk fashion program, attracting top-tier emerging designers such as Alexander Wang, Proenza Schouler, Patrik Ervell, Joseph Altuzarra, Preen, Peter Som, Ohne Titel, Cushnie et Ochs, Suno and Vena Cava to showcase their collections with the program, now known as MADE.

In the role of the Executive Director and Curator at MADE, Lombardo provides a platform for emerging and exceptional design talent. Now entering its seventh season, MADE’s influence in the fashion community has grown exponentially, and the program of events currently includes over 50 fashion shows and presentations, panel discussions, parties, and concerts. Additionally, Lombardo and partners Mazdack Rassi and Keith Baptista have built MADE into a year-round, dynamic platform that connects emerging talent in fashion, music, art and pop-culture with visionary brands to create new cultural platforms and communities.

Lombardo is also the founder of The Terminal Presents, where her innovational creative concepts resuscitate brands, help them to reclaim their position in the market and sustain relevance; key facets to brand health. Some of her clients have included Target, Westfield, Morgans Hotel Group, Keds, and W Hotels where she serves as the Fashion Director and has executed strategies and events globally; cities include London, Tokyo, Paris, Bangkok, and Moscow among others. Additionally, Lombardo is currently involved in the multi-platform re-strategizing of the Playboy brand along with acting as the Fashion Director of the magazine.

As a recognized expert in her field, Lombardo serves on the board of Stylitics.com, plays an active role in Parsons The New School for Design, participates in industry panel discussions, and regularly appears in TV and print spots.
